To accommodate the heavy rush of passengers, especially devotees traveling to seek Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi during Navratri, the Jammu Railways Division has announced the addition of an extra Third AC (3AC)coach on Train No. 12426, the Jammu-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, from March 16 to March 20.

The move, under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager, Vivek Kumar aims to enhance passenger convenience and reduce waiting lists during the festive season. Approximately 72 additional berths will be available on each trip, ensuring more confirmed tickets for travelers.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal said,“Our goal is to ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable journey duringNavratri. The additional coach comes equipped with modern amenities and meetsall safety standards. We will continue monitoring passenger demand andimplement similar measures in the future.”
