‘Chalo Panchayat ChaloWard’ a flagship programme of Youth Congress was organised by Sandeep SinghRissam, Chairman, Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan Chairman, J&K atMakhanpur Gujran Panchayat of RS Pura Jammu South constituency.

The programme was gracedby many eminent leaders including Indian Youth Congress secretary and InchargeJ&K Maan Singh Rathore, J&K Youth Congress president, Akash Bharat, J&KCongress Minority Department, president Rajinder Singh, Youth Congress vice presidentDivyansh Jamwal, DCC Rural working president, Charanjeet Bhagat, general secretary,Rahul Tandon, block president, Gurmeet Singh and other local leaders.

Mansingh Rathore said thatpeople are very disappointed due to the absence of an elected government in J&K.People are demanding the government to conduct assembly elections but BJP isnot in favour of conducting elections due to fear of a hefty defeat.

Akash Bharat said that onhis visits to the various areas across the J&K UT, he finds there is muchdisappointment among the people. People are fed up with poor policies of thegovernment and are even lacking basic facilities. Along with it, Tax terrorismhas made their life even more pathetic.

Rajinder Singh speaking tothe people said that such programs should be organised in each Panchayat asthis will strengthen the party at grass roots level.

On this occasion, SandeepSingh Rissam said that the objective of this program is to reach out to thepublic at large and to know and further address their problems. This Nationwideprogram of Congress is getting a lot of support from the people.

Through this program ithas been revealed that BJP's development claims are completely hollow andpeople are struggling with serious problems, he added.
