The most preferred cricket training facility of Crossway Cricket Academy has emerged as the only such facility in old Jammu city with ample of space to train and guide the young enthusiasts of the fast growing sport in the Union Territory post Ranji Trophy triumph.
Under the able guidance of experienced Sukomal Ganguly, the three-member coaching team provides equal opportunities to youngsters, including girls, in a cordial atmosphere and protected environment of the historic Alexander Memorial School, adjoining Residency Road.
With nominal fee, the Academy enrolls a candidate only between the age of six and 19 years in a planned and long-term result oriented schedule, spread over three-hour evening sessions.
“With a capacity of 70 students per training session, our present strength is around 55 budding cricketers. We are old city’s only such training facility with having two turf and concrete wickets each with one synthetic wicket,” informed Ganguly, chief coach at the Academy.
