Badminton Association ofJammu and Kashmir shall hold three-day Yonex Sunrise J&K UT Masters (Veteranmen and women) Badminton Championship at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium,here from February 16 to February 18.
“Those interestedparticipants from district units have been advised to send the entries throughdistrict secretaries before last date of February 14 till 8 pm,” said generalsecretary of the Association, Balbir Singh Jamwal.
It will be out of thisevent, the J&K team for the upcoming Yonex-Sunrise 46th IndianMasters (Veteran) National Badminton Championships shall be selected. TheNational event shall be held at Punchkula in Haryana from March 16 to March 23.
Further, a player iseligible to participate in maximum three events of singles, doubles and mixeddoubles. The competition shall be held following the Badminton Association of India(BAI) rules.
The events shall be heldfor three categories of Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles for 35 Plus (1988),40 plus (1983), 45 plus (1978), 50 plus (1973), 55 plus (1968), 60 plus (1963),65 plus (1958), 70 plus (1953) and 75 plus (1948).
