JAMMU, August 23:  Organisedby the Badminton Association of Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K Senior andJunior Ranking/selection Badminton Tournament concluded today at IndoorComplex, MA Stadium, here.

In the closing function, member J&K Sports Counciland president Hockey J&K, Rajiv Sharma was chief guest, who encouraged thewinners and other participants.

Earlier, general secretary of the Association, BalbirSingh Jamwal gave a brief note of the event and informed the gathering aboutthe upcoming events at the National level.

 Present amongothers were chairman of the Association, Dr O D Sharma, Divisional Sportsofficer of Sports Council, Ashok Singh, Manager Sports Council, Satish Gupta,Dr Taran Singh, D V Sharma, Dushyant Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Vikram Saini, DivumGupta, Sukhdev Singh, Pawanjit Singh, Anil Gurkha and Vivek Mehta.
