Makhdoomi Club and BudgamClub shared the title trophy of SMSM Volleyball League after the rain interruptedfinal ended in a draw at Government Degree College ground, here.

Since the final remainedundecided because of the unprecedented rain in the town, the organisersdeclared finalist teams as joint winner.

Earlier, Makhdoomi Club,led by Makhdoomi brothers, showcased their dominance throughout the event. Theyhad a convincing victory over Havlie Club in the semifinal encounter.

For their professionalcontests, Makhdoomi Club enjoyed the overwhelming support from the crowd.

Important to mention herethat the first ever volleyball league was organised by the Shaheed DySP ManjeetSingh Memorial Volleyball Club under the aegis of Volleyball Association ofJ&K.
