The 24th Bamhag Kesariannual dangal shall be held at Sardabbar Kalsote in Moungri area of districtUdhampur on May 16 (Tuesday) as part  ofthe three-day historic mela.

Dangal is being organisedby J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association in support with Jammu and KashmirPolice, Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd., Jammu and Kashmir  TourismDepartment, Bamhag Kesari Dangal Committee and District Adminstration Udhampur.

This was decided in ameeting which held at conference hall, Deputy Commissioner office Udhampur withDeputy Commissioner Udhampur  Saloni Raiin chair.

Shiv Kumar Sharma, presidentJ&K Indian Style Wrestling Association; Advocate  Swantanter Dev Kotwal, chairman  Lord Shiv Parvati Caves Shrine ( Moungri )Development Board; former Sarpanch Hans Raj; Varinder Badyal, Om Parkash Vermaand Dhani Ram, general secretary of Bamhag Kesari Dangal Committee were amongthose prominent present in the meeting.

Shiv Sharma who is alsoformer Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council appealed Tehsildar Moungri,Arushi Saberwal, who is also mela officer, to extend helping hand so as to makeDangal a grand success.

Important to mention herethat Dangal is being held at Kalsote since 1999 during three-day Mela  starting from May 14.
