Khelo India Women's Wushu City league concluded at the Indoor Hall of Subhash Stadium with great enthusiasm and encouraging participation.
The event was formally concluded by the chief guest, Ashok Kumar former Director Sports SMVDSB, showering his blessings and encouraged all the participants to perform with dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship.
He highlighted the importance of women's participation in sports and appreciated the initiative under the banner of ASHMITA promoting grassroots talent.
More than 200 players from district Udhampur participated in the championship, showcasing remarkable enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Vijay Kumar, president Udhampur Wushu Association; Sahil Manhas, Yashpal (National Referee);Sonia Verma, and Ranjeet Verma were among other prominent present.
The League aimed at providing a competitive platform to young women athletes and to identify emerging talent at the grassroots level.
