JAMMU, April 08: Veteran volleyball players, who held senior positions in the Volleyball Association of J&K, today felicitated Bashir Ahmed on assuming the charge of Divisional Sports Officer (DSO) Jammu of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC).

The trio complimented Bashir, a former National volleyball player and coach, on his promotion to the top chair. The volleyball stalwarts hoped that new incumbent shall leave no stone unturned in promotion of sports, especially volleyball, in Jammu Division.

Meanwhile, the DSO Jammu, Bashir Ahmed, who hails from district Rajouri, expressed his thanks to HS Gill, Romesh Sharma and Anchal Singh for the honour.
