Vansh Sabre SportsFoundation and Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association felicitated newlyinducted Minister for Sports in the Cabinet of Omar Abdulllah led J&K Government.

Members of the Foundationand those office bearers of the Association had detailed interaction with theyoung minister in the J&K Government. A number of issues were raised duringthe discussion with focus on the difficulties of the outstanding sportsperons.

The Minister, who holds theportfolios of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs; Transport; Science andTechnology and Sports, expressed his concern for the sportspersons.

Minister gave patienthearing to the briefing by technical director of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association,Surinder Mohan and director (technical) of the Vansh Sabre Sports Foundation(VSSF), S S Gill.

Earlier, secretary of theVSSF, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta introduced the team members. He endorsed the idea ofthe Government to give responsibility of Sports to a young Minister, who has asports background.

Gupta urged the Ministerto take a final call on the pending decision regarding appointments of around200 outstanding sportspersons under SO 12 without further delay.
