The second competition of a series of mass sport climbing competitions for kids to tap the talent at the grass root level, was organised by Tawi Trekkers J&K today at Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing Wall in Sprawling Buds ICSE School campus, here.
About 390 boys and girls, some of them as young as 10 years, exclusively from Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar, competed for the needed exposer.
“These competitions are part of efforts of the club to prepare J&K’s team for this year’s Asian Kids Sport Climbing Competition,” informed working president, Shawetica Khajuria.
The Results: Kids Girls: Palak Janjua, Ist; Avni Verma, 2nd and Mankirat Kour, 3rd.Kids Boys: Saksham Singh, Ist; Gulfan, 2nd and Anmol, 3rd.Junior Girls: Harneet Kour, Ist; Dipanshi, 2nd and Sonali Sahu, 3rd.Junior Boys: Tanish Sharma, Ist; Taranjeet Singh, 2nd and Raghav Saini, 3rd.
