Sprawling Buds holds investiture ceremony

In a vibrant celebration of leadership, responsibility, and the spirit of service, Sprawling Buds ICSE School today conducted much-awaited investiture ceremony with great pride and solemnity on the campus, here.

The occasion marked the official induction of the newly elected students council members for the academic year 2026-27, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing young leaders of tomorrow.

The investiture ceremony at school stands as a proud tradition that fosters accountability, leadership, and personal growth-values remain central to the school’s mission.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the ‘School Song’ sung by the students and the teachers. The event was graced by the chairman of the school, Rahul Sharma; chairperson, Arti Sharma; Director, Seema Sharma, Monika Sharma, and Isha Singh.

It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion. Coordinator of the school, Shallu Bhat administered the oath to the newly elected student council members reminding the students of the new roles and responsibilities.

In her address, chairperson of the school, Arti Sharma congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to lead with integrity, confidence and dedication. In her address, she emphasized the importance of teamwork, responsibility and positive leadership in shaping the future of the students and society.

The newly appointed House captains and other council members were also inducted, receiving their flags, badges and sashes with pride and a sense of solemn duty.

Abhilasha Koul was appointed as the Discipline incharge of the school considering her dedication, leadership qualities and commitment towards maintaining discipline and valuesa mong students make her well suited for this responsibility.

Later, Director of the school, Seema Sharma in her motivational address asked the students to keep moving forward despite the obstacles and challenges that life throws in front of them.

The ceremony concluded with a cultural presentation, leaving everyone inspired and hopeful for a year of impactful student leadership.
