Jammu and Kashmir shooting team today left for participation in the XXXV All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship, scheduled to be held at SAS Nagar Mohali in Chandigarh from September12 to September 22.

Earlier, the selected shooters underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council team led by Divisional Sports Officer in the presence of Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Chairman J&K Rifle Association, Sharat Chander Singh, working general secretary, Rajesh Virdhi, chairman Technical Committee and Aman Singh, Shooting Coach.

The Team: 10 meters Air Rifle: Laksh Chatan Wazir, Tarleen Kaur, Jasleen Kaur, Danish, Advika Singh, Lovyia Parihar, Dharya Kotwal, Saaransh Raj Khajuria, Nitin Singh Jamwal and Mannat Choudhary. 50 meters Rifle Prone: VikasKumar, Samarth Tuli and Arjun Singh. Both 10 meters Air Rifleand 50 meters Rifle Prone: Sheikh Zainab Iqbal.
