Undergoing Diploma in Sports from Netaji Subash (NS) National Institute of Sports (NIS) Patiala, seven such coaches in making from different disciplines have been deputed for the Internship programme with J&K Sports Council at MA Stadium, here.

“From seven different sports disciplines, these Interns have been subsequently assigned the coaching job at the concerned training facility for a period of two months. During their internship, these individuals shall be paid Rs 15,000 per month by the SAI,” informed Incharge SAI STC Jammu, Tauseef Ahmed.

These Interns belongs tothe sports disciplines of Basketball (two), Volleyball, Badminton, Wushu (two)and Judo.

It was for the first time that such a big number of interns have been deputed in J&K by the SAI.
