Zone Reasi dominated in the team events of the inter-zonal district level competitions of district Reasi held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS)in the desciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess and Wrestling in boys under-14 and under-17 age groups at twin venues of General Zorawar Singh Stadium and Indoor Sports Complex Reasi.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek was the chief guest, who interacted with the participating teams and officials in the presence of district (DYSS) officer, Dharamveer Singh.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the important role sports play in strengthening a young student both physically and mentally while developing the leadership qualities through team spirit.

KABADDI: Under-14: Zone Chassana beat Zone Reasi 29-17. Under-17: Zone Reasi beat Zone Mahore 30-11. KHO-KHO:Under-14 Zone Reasi beat Zone Pouni by three points. Under-17: Zone Reasi beat Zone Pouni by two points.
VOLLEYBALL: Under-17: Zone Reasi beat Zone Arnas 2-0. Under-14: Zone Pouni beat Zone Mahore 2-1.
