Rameez of Poonch made India U-18 Volleyball coach

Rameez Tariq of district Poonch has been made assistant coach of the India Under-18 boys team for the AVC Volleyball Championship to be held in China.

Working as Physical Education Teacher (PET) with the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Rameez is a qualified referee coach, who has been assigned the important job by the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI).

The achievement of Rameez was highly appreciated by the district (DYSS) officer Poonch, who wished the official success in the assigned duty.

Rameez belongs to a family, which has outstanding contributions to Indian volleyball. Son of volleyball coach and promoter of the game, Tariq Khan, Rameez is elder brother of India player and professional spiker, Saqlain Tariq.

Carrying forward the legacy, Rameez has earned recognition through his dedication, coaching excellence, and commitment to youth development, a handout issued by the DYSS informed.
