International Cricketer and life member of the J&K Cricket Association (JKCA), Parvez Rasool has made a sudden entry intothe ongoing tussle between the president, and rest of the newly elected body.
Siding with the president, Javid Ahmed Kitab, Parvez has made rest of the nine members of the all important Apex Council party in a suit filed in the Court of Civil Judge Anantnag dated July 24. The application has been accepted with case listed for July one.
The complaint from Parvez revolved around alleged unconstitutional conduct of the JKCA, especially thatof the general secretary.
The application specifically mentioned the notice dated June four with regard to convening ofSpecial General Meeting (SGM) on June 26 at JKCA Headquarters, Jammu.
Meanwhile, the general secretary of JKCA, Vivek Khajuria, in a notification uploaded on the official website late yesterday evening, informed the suspension of the president, Javid Ahmed Kitab in a resolution passed by the majority.
Subsequently, all officers, employees, affiliated units and functionaries of the JKCA have been directed to take all consequential steps for implementation of the Resolution forthwith, strictly in accordance with the constitution of the Association.
