Senior members of the Jammuand Kashmir Tug-of-War Association today felicitated the newly elected president,Jasbir Singh Sudan, here.

Educationist byprofession, Jasbir Singh Sudan, Chairman of Unique

International PublicSchool, has played a key role in the development of the game of Kho-Kho inJammu and Kashmir.

The members expressedtheir confidence in his leadership and conveyed their best wishes for thecontinued growth and development of Tug of War in Jammu and Kashmir UT.

The senior members saidthat the new leadership would provide fresh

impetus to the sport andhelp strengthen the association at the grassroots level.

Jasbir Singh Sudan thankedthe senior members for the gesture

and expressed hiscommitment to working collectively for the welfare of athletes, coaches,officials and the overall promotion of Tug of War in Jammu and Kashmir.

He assured the members thatthe Association would strive to create greater opportunities for players and takethe sport to new heights. The president also highlighted the efforts madeduring the tenure of Hardeep Singh Anand, outgoing president of the Association.

Among other senior memberspresent were Jodh Singh Ishar, former general secretary, Dr. Kuldeep KumarGupta, former senior vice president and Kiran Kumari, former joint secretary.
