Former member of J&K Sports Council, Rajeev Sharma today visited the volleyball academy and training facility of Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club, here.

Prominent sports promoter of J&K, Sharma interacted with the young trainees in the presence of volleyball promoter and coach, Mohd Tariq amidst assurance of adequate help for those in need of support in pursuing education and sports.

Sharma is a regular visitor to the Academy and has had helped those needy young sports trainees across different disciplines.

Appreciating the gesture of visiting Rajeev Sharma, Tariq expressed his thanks and hope he would continue supporting the sports and sportspersons in J&K.

Important to mention thatMohd Tariq has been imparting coaching to youngsters at the academy withinGovernment Degree College grounds and played a key role in guiding a number ofplayers to excel at National and international level from Poonch, including hisson, Saqlain Tariq.
