Government SPMR College ofCommerce bagged the men’s title trophy while women’s overall title went toGovernment College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar in the inter-college Fencingtournament which held at Government MAM College here today.

To claim the men’s trophy,Commerce College obtained highest 16 points while GGM Science College finishedsecond with eight points. Similarly, in women section, GCW Gandhi Nagarexcelled with 16 points and Commerce College remained overall second with 13points.

Principal of the host MAMCollege, Prof. B. B. Anand was the chief guest, who felicitated the teams inthe presence of Director Sports Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Vinod Bakshi.

Among others present were Dr.Anil Singh, Dr. Shamboo Manhas, Dr. Sanjay Samyal, Dr. Rouf Bhat, Kajal Premi,Neelam Chalotra and Prof. Shabnam Malik. The technical penal comprised AnthonyMattoo, Ujawal Gupta and Tony Mattoo.
