KL Rahul joins Goa Guardians as Co-Owner in PVL

Indian cricketer KL Rahulhas joined the ownership group of the Goa Guardians ahead of Season 4 of the RRKabel Prime Volleyball League powered by Scapia, marking a new chapter forIndian volleyball.

Now, for the first time asCo-Owner of a professional sports team, Rahul wants to give volleyball therecognition it deserves.

“This feels like a fullcircle moment for me. PVL is a turning point for the sport in India. The biggerpicture is to give volleyball the spotlight and screen time so that more peoplecan watch it and love this sport. I’m thrilled to join the Goa Guardians notjust as a supporter, but as a co-owner. Volleyball has always been a sport Ienjoyed, and I’m excited to lend my voice and play my part in growing the sportin our country” he said.

The Goa Guardians,debuting in Season 4 this October, will compete alongside top franchises in ahigh-energy format designed for television and digital audiences. KL Rahulbelieves Goa’s vibrant sporting culture makes it the perfect base to inspirenew talent.

All the league matcheswill be broadcast on Sony Sports Network and streamed on PVL’s YouTube channelfrom October two to October 26.
