District Kathua among five teams won their respective matches in the ongoing inter-district under-17 boys ‘The League of Classic’ Football event, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) as part of the 100 days of anti-drug campaign in the Union Territory, at Khel Gaon, Nagrota, near here today.

Kathua  blanked their counterpart from district Ramban8-0. In other scheduled matches, Kupwara outplayed Pulwama 4-0 while Baramulla defeated Budgam 8-0. Bandipur trounced district Reasi 4-0 and Ganderbal beat Samba 5-2.

The technical penal for today’s matches comprised Rohit Gupta, Taranpal Singh, Varinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Naveen

Singh, Devinder Singh and Somander Singh.
