Jammu and Kashmir SportsCouncil (JKSC) organised Table Tennis Tournament under ‘My Youth My Pride’ atthe Indoor Sports Hall, Subash Stadium, here.
The tournament witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 70 players from across the district. Players competed in different age categories displaying fighting spirit throughout the competition, making the event a grand.
The event was graced by TarseemSingh, district (DYSS) officer Udhampur as chief guest, who encouraged theparticipants. The event held under the supervision of Suraj Bhan Singh,Manager, Subash Stadium, Udhampur.
Among the distinguished guests present were Prikshit Khajuria, treasurer, District Table Tennis Association Udhampur; Sunny Sharma, Member, District Table Tennis Association Udhampur; Jatin Sethi, Mannat Arora and Madhav Magotra.
The matches conducted by the technical officials including Sahil Malgotra and Ankit Sharma(Mentor) ensuring smooth and fair competition.
The Results: U-15 Girls: Prisha,Ist and Devi Shriya, 2nd. Senior Girls: Shoba Devi, Ist and Smriti,2nd. U-13 Boys: Sourav, Ist and Sukant, 2nd. U-17 Boys:Aditya Sharma, Ist and Varun, 2nd. Senior Boys: Madhav Sharma, Istand Ujjwal Verma, 2nd.
