Hockey Jammu and Kashmir,after a gap of three years, shall conduct the J&K UT Senior Hockey Championshipat KK Hakhu Stadium, here from March 24.

Sponsored by J&KSports Council (JKSC), the event shall involve teams from various districts ofthe Union Territory as also affiliated departmental units in this mega event.

“Took over in May last, thenew body in Hockey J&K has chalked a futuristic plan to raise the level ofhockey in the Union Territory by holding regular domestic activities. Specialcamps are also in the long term plans to groom the talented boys and girls in away to compete at the National level. The next edition of the J&K UTchampionship shall be held in Srinagar,” informed general secretary of HockeyJ&K, Dr Taran Singh.
