Jammu and Kashmir bagged Silver after losing to hosts Rajasthan by 13 runs in the 69th National School Games Under-14 Boys Cricket Tournament.
Batting first, Rajasthan scored 140 for five in the stipulated 15 overs. Pratul Sharma top scored with 46 runs, while Daksh and Mohit contributed 35 and 27 runs respectively.
From J&K, Faisal Aminand Shaid Ali took two wickets each, while Muhammad Mudrik claimed the other wicket.
In reply, J&K could not achieve the target and exhausted their quota of overs for 127 for the lossof six wickets. Owais Ishaq top scored with 36 runs, while Haris Bin Rehman and Asif were other main contributors to the total with 32 and 25 runs respectively.
From Rajasthan, Arslan wasthe most successful bowler, who took three wickets.
Faisal Amin Pandith of J&K was declared as the best bowler of the tournament.
J&K team was accompanied by Suresh Singh as Coach and Adil Hussain Mir as Manager. The team competed under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS),J&K.
