The J&K Amateur Boxing Association shall hold three-day long J&K UT Championship under the aegis of Boxing Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association at MA Stadium, here from March 27.

Those eligible boxers have been advised to bring along Aadhar Card and other mandatory supporting documents at the time of weigh in for the championship, a handout issued by the Association informed.

Sponsored by the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), the event shall also witness selection trials for the 7th Juniors (boys and girls) National Championship scheduled to be held at Nagpur from April four to April 11.

Boxers taking part in selection trials have to submit date of birth certificate (born between01/01/2010 to 31/12/2011), medical (if already issued by BFI), non pregnancy certificate (women), sports Council medical from certified medical officer, Domicile certificate as also four passport size photographs.
