Vipul Sharma of J&Kwon gold in the just concluded Senior Karate Championship which was organizedby Karate India at Daly College Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Vipul’s gold came in under-67kg weight category. Other two participants in the Nationals from J&K were SatishKumar and Kishav Sharma.

Further, Vipul has beenselected for the Asian Karate selection trials to be held at Shillong in Assamfrom October 12 to October 16.

Meanwhile, two seniorJ&K officials, Umesh Rekhi and Naresh Chander conducted referee seminars onthe sidelines of the National event. While Sensei Umesh conducted the Refereeseminar aiming at referees and coaches, Sensei Naresh was head of the advance Kumiteseminar, which held for the players.
