Hockey J&K organizes Eid Milan with players

Hockey Jammu and Kashmir today organized a get-together on Eid Al Fitr at KK Hakku Stadium, here involving young hockey players and members of the sports fraternity.

The special gathering was meant for the training camp participants from across the Union Territory preparing for the upcoming Sub Junior Nationals.

“The camp participants preferred to attend training camp for national hockey championships on the occasion of Eid festival. All the players greeted each other and their Muslim brothers and sisters,” informed general secretary of the Hockey J&K, Dr Taran Singh.

This function was attended by representatives from different sports associations and the staff of J&K Sports Council with a gathering of around 100 people.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Sharma, a prominent sports promoter and patron in chief of Hockey J&K, greeted the players and prayed to God for peace and prosperity for the J&K.

Also spoke to the gathering were Captain Murti Gupta, president J&K  Lawn Tennis Association and Ravinder Singh, chairman J&K Cycling Association.
