Hockey Jammu and Kashmir ina function held at K K Hakhu Stadium, here honoured the J&K Sub Junior womenhockey team for its performance in the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior WomenHockey Championship which held at Ranchi.

Rajeev Sharma, patron in chiefHockey J&K, presented a Rs. 1 lakh cheque to the team as prize for their performance.The team, after a long time, topped the pool with outstanding performance.

It is worth to mentionhere that Hockey in J&K post elections in May 2025 has started improvingits performance at National level.

The speakers on theoccasion appreciated the team and the management of Hockey J&K under whichthese teams are improving the performance.

“The discipline andhardwork is the key to the success. He advised the players to obey theircoaches and follow their instructions,” said Rajeev Sharma. 

Javed Ahmad, DSO CentralJ&K Sports council and DSO Jammu, Bashir Ahmed welcomed the team andappreciated the management of Hockey J&K for the achievement.
