Himanshu of UP wins Bamhag Kesari Dangal

: Himanshu Yadav of Baranas in Uttar Pradesh lifted the 25th Bamhag Kesari Dangal title beating Nisar of Doda in the main bout that took place at Sardabbar Kalsote during the three days Moungri mela.

Winner Himanshu presented a cash prize of Rs 11,000 while Nisar got RS 10,000. Dangal was organized by J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association with the active support of J&K Tourism Department, J&K Bank Ltd.; Jammu and Kashmir Police and Bamhag Dangal Committee.

Legislator, Pawan Kumar Gupta was the chief guest, who along with guest of honour, Dr. Jogeshwar Gupta presented the titles in the presence of distinguished guests including Mela officer Tehsildar Moungri, Arushi Sabarwal, DySP Reeta Devi; Branch Head J&K Bank Moungri, Arun Sharma and Rajan Singh Happy.

In total, 42 bouts took place in this day-long dangal with participating wrestlers from within and outside J&K.

The second main bout went to Billu of  Roun Domail, who defeated Amit of Jammu  while third bout won by Mam Hussain beating Khadappu. Wrestlers of second and third bouts were suitably rewarded by the organizers.

The technical penal included Om Parkash Verma, Lochan Singh, Tulender Kumar and Sunny.

Other Bouts: Gopal of Jindrah beat Kadar of Udhampur; Salman of Chopra Shop beat Kaka of RS Pura; Shota Munir beat Shota Thappa of Doda; Sunil of udhampur beat Deeraj of RS Pura;Asif of Dansal beat  Shedi of  R S Pura; Sanjay of Moungri beat Buran of Udhampur.
