Hectic schedule mark day-2 of JU inter-college meet

With competition still atthe preliminary stages across five sports disciplines of Kabaddi, Volleyball,Table Tennis, Basketball and Fencing, the day-two of the annual inter-collegecompetitions of University of Jammu (JU) witnessed hectic schedule on the JUcampus here today.

Two popular sportingevents of Volleyball and Kabaddi witnessed maximum participation from theaffiliated colleges of JU while Basketball and Fencing have comparativelylesser teams in this meet.

The event is being hostedby the Directorate of Sports, JU under the guidance of different teams led bythe Director, Dr Dawood Iqbal Baba.

 

BASKEBALL: MEN: G.D.CKunjwani beat ASCOMS by three pts; BDC Udhampur beat G.D.C Doda by 13 pts; GDCKathua beat GDC Udhampur by two pts. WOMEN: G.C.W Parade beat M.I.ET by 23 ptsand P.G. Departments beat G.D.C Khilotran by eight pts.
