Chirag Yadav will captainthe 13-man Goa Guardians squad for the upcoming Prime Volleyball League 2025season set to begin in Hyderabad from October two.
The squad, led by headcoach TC Jothish, is a blend of experienced campaigners and exciting newadditions, including two foreign players who bring international experience tothe Guardians’ roster. Coach Jothish stated, "The team is preparingexceptionally well for the tournament. Our focus is on building a cohesive unitby having them train and play together. To achieve this, we extensivelypractice various formations in anticipation of the upcoming games."
Speaking about the team’spreparation, Aravindhan S, who plays in the setter position said, “The trainingsessions at Don Bosco Oratory, Panaji in Goa, over the past month were good.The team was performing well and the practice sessions were excellent. GoaGuardians is a new franchise and it’s great that more players get a chance toparticipate in the volleyball league.
"This marks the GoaGuardians' inaugural season in the Prime Volleyball League," stated PrinceMalik, reflecting on his new team. "It's been a fantastic experience sofar; everyone is incredibly welcoming. While beach volleyball is more commonhere, the turnout of supporters at our practices has been trulyheartwarming."
