Girls exhibition match marks new beginning in Jammu Football

A girls exhibition match marked a new beginning in Jammu’s football with new collaborations and partnerships among stakeholders.

Played between Udhampur City FC and Param FC, the match held on a newly laid synthetic football turf at 'Overdrive Arena', established within Kamala Palace complex on Akhnoor Road, here.

To meet the training and exposure part, Marina United Football Club and Academy has joined hands with Jammu’s top club of Hero FC while Overdrive Arena has collaborated as a venuepartner for the initiative.  Further, TPHC Health Care has joined as Physio partner.

Besides a girls match, a men’s tournament is also being organized before the formal opening of the Overdrive Arena in the first week of April.

“The new initiative in football shall come as an opportunity for those qualified deserving individuals while youngsters shall get a platform to get noticed for a break at the national club structure,” said Marina United representative, Ishan Gupta.
