Semester II team emerged winner of the inter-semester badminton tournament which was organised by Government Degree College (GDC), Doongi in district Rajouri on the college campus.

In the final, Semester II defeated their opponents from Semester IV displaying teamwork.

The event took place under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Chanchal Angral as part of the efforts to get the students involved in extracurricular activities of sports and art.

Speaking to the teams, Principal highlighted the indispensable role of sports in fostering physical fitness,mental well-being and leadership qualities among students. Later, she presented the title trophies and other individual prizes and certificates of merits.

Prominent among those present were Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, Dr. Mohammed Fareed, Dr. Nishu Sharma, Dr.Pratima Bhushan, Dr. Mohd Arshaq, Dr. Mohd Ikram, Dr. Mukhtar Hussain, Dr. Shokit Hussain, Mohd Shafit, Vidushi Kesar, and Satish Kumar.
