DYSS holds U-17 cricket selection from April 2

Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) shall hold selection trial matches in the under-17boys category to finalise the team for the upcoming 69th National School Games to be held at Telangana from April 25.

The four-day selection matches for the already shortlisted 25 probable shall take place from tomorrow at the Khel Gaon in Nagrota, near here.

Earlier, a team of DYSS officials inspected the preparedness by paying a visit to the proposed venue.

“Leading the inspection were esteemed departmental experts Rajesh Dhar, Lecturer in Physical Education and BCCI Level-1 Coach, and Jagtar Singh, a seasoned former First-Class cricketer and Physical Education Teacher. They were joined by ground in-charges Ajay Wadhera and Naresh Kumar, both dedicated Physical Education Teachers,” an official of the DYSS informed.
