Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) organized Taekwondo training camp for the youngsters under its ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan at Khel Gaon, near here today.

Initiated by the district Jammu office of the DYSS, the three-day activity shall conclude on May six.

The camp was inaugurated by Sukhdev Raj Sharma, district (DYSS) officer Jammu, who asked the participants to stay away from unhealthy activities, including drugs and related substances.

He reiterated department’s commitment to organize more such camps in the future to strengthen sports infrastructure and youth engagement across the district.

Around 150 participants from six schools from zone Dansal are attending the training sessions coordinated by Dinesh Kumar, Incharge ZPEO, Zone Dansal.

The training sessions are being conducted by qualified coach and Physical Education Teacher (PET), Atul Pangotra.
