The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) celebrated World Health Day by organizing a Health Awareness Programme by holding a Free Health Check-up Camp at Government High School, Gran in district Reasi.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health. A team of qualified doctors and paramedical staff provided free medical check-ups, basic health screening, and conducted awareness sessions on healthy lifestyle practices, hygiene, and disease prevention.
The medical team deputed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Reasi included Dr. Meenali Rajput, Pushp Bharat (Pharmacist), Rajesh Singh (Pharmacist), and Darshna Bhagat (ANM), who rendered their valuable services during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarsem Singh, District officer (DYSS) Reasi, highlighted the importance of health awareness among youth and the general public.
Students, staff, and local residents actively participated in the camp and availed the free medical services.
The Headmaster of the School, Manjit Singh, expressed his gratitude to the Department of Youth Services and Sports for organizing the health camp at the school.
Among others present were Pardeep Kumar, Lal Singh, and Anil Kumar. The programme was coordinated by Kuldeep Kumar, Jagdev Singh, Arun Dev Singh, and Ankush Sharma.
