Dr Kuldeep Gupta, general secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association called on Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu (CUJ), Sanjeev Jain.

Besides discussion on sports, Dr Gupta submitted proposal with regard to development and promotion of Kabaddi on the campus with mutual support and efforts.
The VC was urged to priorities promotion of the game of Kabaddi by prioritizing the discipline alongside other popular sports among the students.

The proposal mentioned collaborative programs to run coaching camps, talent identification initiatives, workshops and UT-level tournaments.

The Association sought the University’s favourable consideration and timely action to establish Kabaddi as a priority sport at CUJ.
