Dhruv Singh Manhas, a semester VI student of Government Degree College (GDC) Kunjwani, brought laurels to the institution winning Gold medal in the North India Powerlifting Championship.

Dhruv contested in the 66kg weight category. On his return, he was felicitated by the Principal, GDC Kunjwani, Dr Manisha Sarup Kohli in the presence of other senior faculty of the college.

Dr. Manisha Sarup Kohli also lauded the efforts of Malik Aijaz Iqbal, Physical Director and Sports Committee of the GDC Kunjwani for encouraging sports on the campus.
