Dharya Kotwal of Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) won Bronze medal in the recently held North Zone II Shooting Tournament which held at Sacred Souls’ School, Gharuan, Mohali in Chandigarh.

Dharya secured Bronze in the Under-14 10M Air Rifle event with an excellent score of 392 out of 400. Several other MOSAJ shooters also produced commendable performances, securing top positions among strong regional competition.

While Loviya Parihar secured 11th position (395/400) and Maadhvi Dabas finished fourth (389/400),  Advika Rajput secured sixth place (395/400)and Amaira Sharma stood ninth (382/400). 

Meanwhile, MOSAJ coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh congratulated the shooters for their disciplined preparation, hard work and determination. They expressed hope that the achievements would inspire more youngsters from J&K to pursue competitive shooting.

President JKRA, Surinder Singh Sodhi lauded the athletes for their dedication and described the achievement as a proud moment for the sporting fraternity of J&K.

The JKRA chairman, Kuldeep Jamwal and general secretary, DySP Sharat Chander Singh also congratulated the athletes and coaching staff, reaffirming the J&K Rifle Association’s commitment to supporting emerging shooters.
