Baramulla boy wins Eurasian Professional Sanda League

Musharaf Qayoom ofBaramulla won the Eurasian Professional Sanda League title defeating the formerchampion from Armania in straight three rounds at Georgia.

As per the reportsreaching here, Musharaf earned the berth for the title considering his performancein the Batumi International Wushu Championship at the same venue betweenOctober 17 and October 23.

Musharaf has been awardedRs 40,000 cash prize. Subsequently, he has been selected for the EurasianProfessional Sanda League, where he defeated former champion from Armania andwas awarded with Rs 50,000 as cash prize and Belt.

Meanwhile, a handoutissued by the Wushu Association of J&K, Musharaf’s achievement receivedappreciation from Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul.

The Wushu Association ofJ&K office bearers, Vijay Saraf, Bhavneet congratulated talented Musharaffor making J&K proud. Dronacharya Awardee, Kuldeep Handoo alsocongratulated the athlete for his wonderful performance.
