Asmita Women’s Wushu League concluded with well attendedclosing function

which held at Indoor Stadium, Polo Ground, here today.

Those outstanding players were felicitated by chiefguest, Kuldeep Handoo, Dronacharya Awardee

and Chief Coach of India. He lauded the initiative oforganizing the Women’s League, describing it as

a significant step towards empowering young femaleathletes and providing them with a

professional platform to showcase their talent.

Also present were Sadat Aslam Wani, vice president WushuAssociation of J&K; Hilal Ahmad,

Manager, Indoor Stadium Polo Ground; Mohammed MaqsoodRather (joint secretary), Ajaz Hussain

(KIC Handwara), Irfan Ahmad Wani (PMDP Shadipura), andRameez Ahmad Dar (KIC Shopian).

Those best performers in this League were presentedmedals and certificates of participation.

Meanwhile, the Association also inaugurated the OpenKashmir Wushu Championship.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Mohammed MaqsoodRather, joint secretary, Wushu

Association of J&K, who expressed gratitude to KuldeepHandoo and other guests for encouraging the athletes.
