The talent rich Armed Zonelifted the overall championship trophy in the Inter-Zone Sports Meet of Jammuand Kashmir Police which concluded at Gulshan Ground, here today.

The overall second placewent to the Jammu Zone considering the points earned out medal won in acrossdifferent disciplines of team and individual events.

The event witnessed enthusiasticparticipation and intense competition, underscoring the strong sports culturewithin the J&K Police.

Additional DirectorGeneral Armed of J&K Police, Anand Jain was the chief guest, who presented thechampionship trophies in the presence of members of the organising committee including DIG IR Jammu, Vinod Kumar.

While addressing thegathering, the ADGP appreciated the organizers and participants for theflawless conduct of the sports meet. He

highlighted the vital roleof sports in promoting physical endurance, camaraderie, and a healthy competitivespirit among J&K Police personnel.

In total,  teams from six different zones of the J&KPolice participated in this mega event in both men and women sections.
