Annual inter-districtDivision level athletics (all age group) meet of boys started today on theUniversity of Jammu (JU) campus under the banner of Department of YouthServices and Sports (DYSS).

The opening day witnessedcompetition in under-19 category in both field and track events under theguidance of technical penal of the department.

The competition was beingorganised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, RajinderSingh Tara (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director, Ved Parkash (JKAS) andthe overall supervision

of district (DYSS) officerJammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma and Harvinder Kour.

Around 200 male athletes,representing various districts of Jammu Division are taking part in this event.

The competition was beingconducted by the penal of experts including Nirmal Singh, Chamel Singh, HarsimranSingh, Kailash Choudhary, Sukhdev Singh and Harvinder Singh.
